Spring Dalean bags first position in 2nd Punjab State Kudo Championship

In continuance of the school’s medal winning spree in sports, Aarav Kamboj, a student of class II of Spring Dale Senior School, bagged the first position in second Punjab State Kudo Championship held at Batala. 
 
Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that Aarav competed in the 25 kg category and bested several players in this category to win the first position in the event. Talking about Kudo, he said that this is an official Japanese Cultural Budō sport and falls under the same category as Judo, Aikido and Kendo.
 
“Kudo, which is recognized by over 10 national Olympic committees and has over 50 member countries, is the worldwide copyright and all Kudo instructors and branch chiefs are certified under the Kudo International Federation (KIF),” he said.
 
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managint Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated Aarav on his win in the event. “The school is proud of Aarav’s achievement,” they said.
