WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY

Students spread awareness against tobacco consumption
 
MAY 31: Expressing concern over increasing instance of cancer among people of various age groups due to consumption of tobacco and tobacco-based products, and the resultant deaths, the students of Health and Wellness Club of Spring Dale Senior School engaged in a host of activities to spread awareness against tobacco consumption.
 
The students prepared posters and book marks with catchy depictions and tag lines to warn the masses against the ill-effects of tobacco consumption, while also holding class to class campaigns in this regard, besides organizing a special session with the van drivers ferrying them to school and back to urge them to abstain from consuming tobacco or tobacco-based products.
 
The van drivers were shown a power point presentation in which they were apprised of the ill-effects of tobacco consumption on human health.
