Spring Daleans win gold and silver medals in Open District Badminton Tournament
Potential shuttlers from Spring Dale Senior School literally reaped a harvest of gold and silver medals during the Open District Badminton Tournament held at Taylor Road, Amritsar. Adhayan Kakkar, of class III, bagged two gold medals, one in singles and the other in the doubles event in the Under-10 category, while Sanjan Singh and Sidakdeep Singh, also students of class III, bagged two silver medals each in the doubles events in the Under-10 category.
In the under-13 category, Garvpreet Singh, of class V, bagged two gold medals, one in the singles and the other in the doubles event, while Garv Chawla, also of class V, won a gold medal in the doubles event and a silver medal in the singles event. Rishika Seth, also a Spring Dalean from class V, won a silver medal in the doubles event. Drishay Kakkar, of class VII, clinched a gold medal in the doubles event in the Under-15 category, while Praguna Kapur of class VIII, won a gold medal in the doubles event in the Under-17 category.
