Hosts Spring Dales emerge overall winners in School District Shooting Championship
 
In a development that speaks volumes about the sports coaching imparted at Spring Dale Senior School, hosts Spring Dales emerged overall winners in the two-day School District Shooting Championship, which witnessed the participation of teams of sharpshooters from different schools in the district.
 
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that sharpshooters from Spring Dales including Shehbaaz Singh Gill, Harsuhail Singh, Maanat Kaur, Sanya Khanna and Penaz Heir bagged gold medals in the under-14, under-17 and under-19 categories in the Peep Sight Air Rifle Boys and Girls events.
 
M Owais Farooqui, a student of Spring Dale Senior School, bagged a gold medal in the Air Pistol event, while Sumant Khanna, another Spring Dalean, won a gold medal in the Air Rifle event.
 
Nabarun Singh, Harmillan Kaur, and Anureet Kaur, all students of Spring Dale Senior School, bagged silver medals in the under-14, under-17, and under-19 Boys and Girls Peep Sight Air Rifle event. Dhananjay Dhammi bagged a silver medal in the under-17 Boys Air Pistol event, while Dhanush Bhalla bagged a silver medal in the under-19 Boys Air Pistol event.
 
Udayvir Singh, Kultaz Kaur and Tavleen Kaur, also Spring Daleans, won bronze medals in the under-14, under-17 and under-19 Boys and Girls Peep Sight Air Rifle event. Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners.
