Spring Daleans defeat teams from elite global institutions to win JA Titan India Gaming Competition
 
More trophies rolled into the vast collection of laurels of Spring Dale Senior School when the school’s team comprising Sanjit Singh Arora and Kavya Gupta bested at least 200 teams from elite global schools to win the JA Titan India Business Gaming Competition JAIBC—2016, held at Learning Paths School, Mohali.
 
Spring Dales’ team won a cash prize of Rs 15,000 by defeating top teams including those from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Army Law School, Chandigarh, University of Fraser Valley, Canada (Chandigarh Campus), and many other prestigious institutions from the Northern India.
 
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that a total of 200 teams participated in the competition, while only eight teams from Amritsar, Delhi, Chandigarh, and Patiala, made it to the finals of the event.
 
“The Business Gaming team of the school is a topper in the northern region and has been awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000, which shall be handed over to them by JA India Group in a separate award ceremony to be held in Mohali,” he said.  Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners.
