Budding shuttlers strike gold at School District and 22nd Punjab School State Tournament
 
Potential shuttlers from Spring Dale Senior School struck gold at the School District and 22nd Punjab School State Tournament held at Pathankot, besides winning a bevy of silver and bronze medals. The teams representing Spring Dale Senior School competed with 32 teams from different schools in this tournament.
 
The under-14 boys team of Spring Dales comprising Garv Chawla, Garv Preet, Samarth and Shaurya, won a gold medal in the event. Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that the boys’ under-17 team won a silver medal in this event. “The Girls’ under-14 and 17 teams also participated in this tournament and won a silver medal each in their respective categories,” he said. Meanwhile, the boys’ under-19 team bagged a bronze medal in this tournament.  
 
Congratulating the winners, Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, said that the school was proud of the achievements of its sports persons.
