Potential programmers display their computing skills during IT Utsav
Potential programmers from Spring Dale Senior School exhibited amazing computing and programming skills during the Eighth edition of the IT Utsav held in the premises of Spring Dale Senior School. The event witnessed the zestful participation of the students and teachers of the school alike.
Experts from NIIT joined the teachers from the IT Department of Spring Dales in analyzing students computing skills and testing their knowledge about IT, while young gamers proudly displayed their intellectual and gaming skills before these experts.
The event entailed sessions on webpage development, adobe flash, adobe photoshop, presentation and quiz. “This was an extremely fulfilling experience for all the participants,” said Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School.
He added that besides filling the students with a desire to be the best in every field, the event afforded the students with a chance to interact with experts in the field of Information Technology and become acquainted with the intricacies of various computer programs commonly and routinely used in various fields.
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, said that the IT Utsav was an annual feature of the school, which aimed at keeping its students abreast with the advancements in the field of IT. “It is great to see our students take giant strides in IT skills. We are committed to organizing more such events in the future,” they said.
