Young gymnasts from Spring Dales win laurels for the school in Second CBSE National Gymnastics Championship
In what could be termed as an amazing display of their acrobatic skills, budding gymnasts from Spring Dale Senior School competed with acrobats from various CBSE schools to bag gold, silver and bronze medals in the Second CBSE National Gymnastics Championship held at Allahabad.
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that Krishna Arjun Bhatia, a budding gymnast from Spring Dale Senior School, bagged one gold medal in the Floor Exercises and one silver medal in Table Vault event, in this Championship. “Meanwhile Anikta Sachdeva, Mannat Singh, and Meera bagged one bronze medal each in Clubs, Rope and Ball events, respectively, in this championship,” he added.
“The school is proud of the exploits of its sports persons in various championships and stands committed to the cause of providing them with the best of infrastructure and training to hone their sporting skills,” said Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, in a joint statement issued on this occasion.
