Spring Daleans bag laurels in North Zone Junior Badminton Championship JBC3

More laurels were added to the medal repository of Spring Dale Senior School when a team of aspiring shuttlers from Spring Dales did their school proud by notching top positions in the North Zone Junior Badminton Championship JBC3 held at Chandigarh.
Adhyayan Kakkar, a student of class VI, of Spring Dales, bagged a bronze medal in the event. He has been selected to play in the nationals on the basis of his outstanding performance in the Championship. Meanwhile, Shorya Podwal, another budding shuttler from class VII of Spring Dales, has bagged the fourth position in the Championship.
Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that the duo competed with 260 badminton players from different schools to bag these laurels. “The School is proud of their achievements,” he said.
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, President, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the young shuttlers from the school for their achievement. “We pray for their success in all the future academic and sports events,” they said.
