Spring Daleans bag Best Delegation Award at IIMUN Amritsar
Individual awards galore
Upholding the school’s tradition of ‘Excelsior’, the students of Spring Dale Senior School, who participated in the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) held at Millennium School, Amritsar, competed with 154 students from reputed schools in the region to bag the Best Delegation Award, besides a host of individual awards and titles in this conference.
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that a delegation of students from the school took part in the conference. “This delegation won the Best Delegation award for their commendable performance in the IIMUN. Six students bagged awards for their commendable performances,” he said.
Mr Sharma added that Spring Daleans Purva Dua and Simarleen Kaur bagged the Best Delegate Award, while Pushti Seth won the Best Journalist award. Teesha Kapoor bagged the High Commendation in UNDCP, while Nishtha Bhardwaj got the High Commendation in BCCI. Kudrat Kaur bagged a Special Mention in the Lok Sabha.
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, President, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners. “The school is proud of their achievements,” they said.
