Spring Dalean wins laurels in 21st Open District Roller Skating Championship
Among the 39 roller skaters to be featured in the Limca Book of Records
Preyasi, an aspiring roller skater from Spring Dale Senior School, has done the institution proud by winning two silver medals and a bronze medal in the 21st Open District Roller Skating Championship held at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, Amritsar bypass. She has been selected for the Open State Roller Skating Championship on the basis of her outstanding performance in this Championship.
Besides this, Preyasi is one of the 39 roller skaters to be featured in the Limca Book of Records for participating in a skating marathon, held at Loharka Road, spanning 26 hours. Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that a student of grade II, Preyasi was one of the aspiring roller skaters from the school. “The school is proud of her achievement,” he said.
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, President, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated Preyasi both for her win in the 21st Open District Roller Skating Championship and her feat for the Limca Book of Records. “We pray for the success of all her future sports and academic endeavours,” they said.
