City academic administrator completes leadership course at Harvard University
Selected by Harvard University, Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Chairman, Spring Dale Educational Society, Amritsar has successfully completed a multi-module leadership training course titled Essential Management Skills for Emerging Leaders (EMSEL – 2017) conducted by the Harvard University Division of Continuing Education and Professional Development.
Mr Sandhu was 1 of 40 industry professionals from around the world and the only one from India who were selected for this prestigious course. Crafted by highly skilled and experienced scholastic administrators, the program entailed three modules spanning a period of 4 months, and is meant for arming promising industry leaders with the necessary skills in six subject areas including leadership, strategy and innovation to drive growth and innovation in their organizations.
“Participants gained a cross-functional view through sessions led by experts in each subject area. One of the highlights of the course was the famed Harvard Case Study method in which real cases of organisations and companies are discussed in detail to find solutions to problems. The also course offered great networking opportunities and I was able to make friends for life from across the planet ,” Mr Sandhu said.
