Spring Dales re-commissions its science park
To make the teaching of science fun for students from Classes I to XII and to enable them to experience the practical applications of various scientific principles given in their science textbooks, Spring Dale Senior School, re-commissioned its science park following due renovation and handed it over the school’s science club for its maintenance
Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, who inaugurated the renovated science arena, said that it contained 25 exhibits each in the form of a swing dealing with a principle of science related to time, velocity, weight, gravity, sound, light, force, human inheritance and others.
“The exhibits cater to students of all age groups from classes I to XII. The park has been designed in such a way so as to ensure that students can have fun while exploring the practical implementation of various principles of science,” he said.
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, reiterated the commitment of the institution towards constantly upgrading the sports and academic infrastructure to ensure the all-round development of the students.
