Spring Daleans bag High Commendation and Verbal Mention at IIMUN, Pune

Upholding the school’s tradition of ‘Excelsior’, the students of Spring Dale Senior School, who participated in the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) held at Aamby Valley, Pune, competed with 1500 students from 83 national and international schools to bag the High Commendation and Verbal Mention Awards for their respective performances in this conference.
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that a delegation of 30 students of the school took part in the conference. “Of these, 11 bagged awards for their commendable performances--five the High Commendation award and six the Verbal Mention award,” he said.
He added that the Spring Daleans, who won the High Commendation Award, include Sabhya Kapur, Manraaj Singh, Tanveer Singh Sachdeva, Ankita Sethi, and Krishnam Wahi, while those who won the Verbal Mention award included Ateeya Sandhu, Aryan Khanna, Sukhmani Khaira, Sanjit Singh Arora, Rheea Saggar and Aashna Sachdeva, all Spring Daleans.
“Out of all the 83 delegations, the delegation from Spring Dale Senior School won the fourth highest number of awards,” Mr Sharma said. Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners. “The school is proud of their achievements,” they said.
