Spring Daleans represent India at Indo-Nepal Badminton Youth Rural Tournament
Giving their school and city yet another reason to be proud of them, the students of Spring Dale Senior School represented India in the international Indo-Nepal Badminton Youth Rural Tournament, held at Nepal, which witnessed the participation of teams of schools from various other countries. The boys’ team of the school won the first position in the under-17 category in this tournament.
The under-17 boys’ team of Spring Dales included Shubham Darghal (Won 1 Gold Medal), Kavish Khanna (Won 1 Gold Medal), Tanmehar Singh (Won 1 Gold Medal) and Mannanjot Singh (Won 1 Gold Medal), all students of the school.
“This is indeed a great achievement for our boys, while the school is also proud of the fact that they participated in an international level tournament and competed with players from other countries,” said Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School. Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners.
