Spring Daleans reap a harvest of gold medals in the District School Tournament

Ananya Chawla, a budding swimmer from Spring Dale Senior School, has done the school proud by bagging five gold medals in various swimming events—two in the District Women’s Festival hosted at Mount Litera Zee School and three gold medals in the under-14 girls swimming event hosted at Mount Litera Zee School during District School Swimming Tournament.
 
Meanwhile, Chanmeet Kaur, a budding swimmer from Spring Dales, bagged two gold medals in swimming in the under 17 girls’ category in the District School Swimming Tournament. Paramjit Kaur, Arpan Heir and Harjas Kaur Thukral, all Spring Daleans bagged one gold medal each in the under-14 girls’ category in the District School Swimming Tournament.
 
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that Chanmeet Kaur and Khushi Galhotra won one silver medal each in the under 17 girls’ category in the District School Swimming Tournament.
 
Chiranjeev Singh, from Spring Dales bagged a silver medal in the boys’ under 17 category, while in the same category, Dilraj Singh, also a student of Spring Dale Senior School, won a bronze medal. Prateek Bharat, from Spring Dales, bagged three bronze medals in the under-19 Boys’ category in this event. 
 
In the District Women’s Festival also hosted at Mount Litera Zee School, Prabhleen Kaur bagged one gold medal and one bronze medal, Chanmeet Kaur won one gold medal and two silver medals, Paramjit Kaur bagged one gold medal, Arpan Heir one silver medal, while Inayat Dhillon won one bronze medal.
 
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners. “The school is proud of their achievements,” they said.
