Spring Daleans bag first position. Make it to the Next level.
The students of Spring Dale Senior School once again did their school proud by bagging the first position in the 15th Heritage Quiz conducted by CBSE at Senior Study School II. The school team has been selected for the next regional round likely to be held at Panchkula.
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that nearly 40 teams from different CBSE schools took part in the event. “Our students cleared the written preliminary round and were among the six teams selected for the second and third rounds in which they stood first,” he said.
The school is known for its promotion of Heritage Education which is evident from the performance of the students. Our Spring Dale team has already qualified for nationals of Intach Quiz Competition to be held in Delhi by winning the regional competition. The event will be telecast live by National Doordarshan. Recently ‘Ma Boli Mela’ was organized by the school to promote love for Punjabi language and culture. The school runs a complete Heritage Education Programme for all the students through which students are exposed to India’s rich heritage and culture. The school is also a coordinating centre for Spicmacay which brings the best of Indian art forms to educational institutions.
