 Spring Daleans win laurels in Punjab State Fencing Championship


 Continuing with their winning spree in the field of sports, budding fencing champs from Spring Dale Senior School once again proved their mettle in sports by competing with fencing teams from other schools in the state to win medals in the Punjab State Fencing Championship held at Dina Nagar.   
 
Giving details, Mr Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Principal, Spring Dale Senior School, said that the school team that participated in the event included Divyam Arora (under-14), and Keshav Bansal and Sargun Singh Sandhu (both from under 17 category).
 
“Keshav and Sargun bagged a silver medal, while Divyam won a bronze medal, in their respective categories in this event. Our team competed with at least 500 fencing champs from various schools in the state in this event,” Mr Sharma said.
 
Dr Kirat Sandhu Cheema, Director, Spring Dale Senior School, and Mr Sahiljit Singh Sandhu, Managing Trustee, Spring Dale Educational Society, congratulated the winners.
