THE ADVANCED PLACEMENT PROGRAM® (AP®)

The Advanced Placement® Program (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school.

The AP Program develops college-level courses that high schools can choose to offer and corresponding AP Exams that are administered once a year.

• Stand out on college applications. AP courses on a student’s transcript show that they’ve challenged themselves with the most rigorous courses available to them. And success on an AP Exam shows that they’re ready for college-level coursework.
• Earn college credit and/or skip introductory courses in college. Most four-year colleges and universities in the United States—as well as many institutions in more than 100 other countries—grant students credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP Exam scores..

Authorized AP Test Center

Late Testing Schedule: 

Our center offers late testing
for circumstances where necessary, following the scheduled late-testing
dates and times published by AP. Here are the late exam subjects our center
offers:: 

TESTING POLICIES :

• Students must have a valid passport to register and take AP Exams.
• Can take any or all of the 4 Physics exams in the same year.
• Cannot retake an exam in the same year, you may retake it in a subsequent year.
• Cannot take both Calculus AB and Calculus BC Exams in the same year.
• You cannot take 2 regular exams scheduled at the same date and time. Decide which exam you wish to take first and then take the other exam during the late testing window.
• ID Policy for test centers in India: Please plan any ID processing and applications in advance. Ensure you have acceptable ID to bring to the test site on exam day or you will not be able to test.
• AP-authorized test centers in India will only accept original, valid passport as ID for entry to the AP Exam administration. Photocopy of ID will not be accepted. 
• The student should bring an APPROVED TESTING DEVICE and an original, VALID PASSPORT to the test centre on exam day, or else will not be able to test.

• If original, valid passport is not available, then students must have the Aadhaar in either original Letter format or the PVC version with hologram only (both received from UIDAI). No other Aadhaar versions will be accepted.

2025 AP Exam Candidate Eligibility:

Students in any of the categories below are eligible to take AP Exams at the secondary school where they’re enrolled or at other AP authorized schools or test centers :

*  Students actively enrolled in secondary school.

*  Actively enrolled students who may be prepared to take an AP exam prior to the ninth grade.

*  Secondary school-level students who are homeschooled, participate in independent study, or attend a virtual school.

*  Recent secondary school graduates who need a specific AP exam for university admission.

Students must ensure that they have registered for all AP Exams, paid the exam fee to the AP test center and completed the entire process mentioned in the AP Exam registration instructions by the deadlines listed. There will be no extensions to the deadlines allowed later
